Memorial Tree Donation Program

This program, run by the Grayslake Park Foundation, offers a meaningful way to honor a loved one, celebrate a milestone, or create a lasting tribute in our community. With this initiative, you can select from a variety of tree species and choose a preferred planting location that holds personal significance to you or your loved ones. Trees can be purchased year-round, with installation occurring in the spring and fall. Orders are due by May 1 for spring planting and September 15 for fall planting. All trees are installed by our dedicated Park District staff and come with a three-year guarantee to ensure they thrive. The Grayslake Park Foundation, works to support educational, recreational, and civic initiatives within the Grayslake Community and the Grayslake Park District. By participating in this program, you’re helping sustain and enhance the parks and programs we all enjoy. Create a lasting impact while enhancing the beauty of our community!

Trees are available for a $500 donation. If you wish to add a custom bronze memorial plaque, it is an additional $325 donation. Each plaque measures 8 inches by 6 inches and can feature up to 6 lines, with 16 characters per line.
