Last Day to Register for Youth Basketball League

The Grayslake Park District Youth Basketball League is designed so all athletes have a chance to play! Girls and Boys (2nd-8th) grades learn fundamentals, strategies and teamwork from parent volunteer coaches. To avoid stacked teams, players can only have one friend request. Both friends must request each other or the request will be denied. Age groups may be combined, depending on the number participants enrolled.
LEAGUE DETAILS:
Registration: August 8 thru November 5
Fee: $200 on or before Nov. 5/$220 on or after Nov. 6
Practices: Begin the week of December 4-each team practices for one hour, per week. (No Practices Dec. 25-Jan. 5), Monday thru Friday between the hours 5-9pm
Games: Begin Jan. 13-March 2-Depending on the number of teams, games will be held on Friday Nights and Saturdays. Any cancellations due to weather will be rescheduled on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays depending on availability of schools.
Locations: Games/Practices held at District 46 Schools-Avon, Frederick, Meadowview, Middle School, Park, Prairieview, Woodview.
Evaluation Dates: See below dates and times for 4th, 5th, 6th 7th & 8th Grades ONLY
Player Evaluation: Sunday, November 5

Player evaluations will be held at the Grayslake Park District Rec Center (240 Commerce Drive). Each player must turn in the Emergency Medical Form and Code of Ethics. To make your evaluation day go quickly, complete forms in advance at www.glpd.com/youth-basketball and bring printed forms to evaluations.
