Kids will transform into chemists and historians for the day to discover the secrets behind their favorite seasonal confections. Marshmallow Peeps, Pop Rocks, M&M’s, Conversation hearts, Three Musketeers, Candy Corn, Cotton Candy, Laffy Taffy, Jolly Ranchers and more will be investigated! Kids use their critical thinking skills while creating hypotheses during class. Did you know that your tongue is hairy to help you taste your favorite treats? What happens to our brain when we consume sugar? Did you know that Tootsie Rolls were the first individually wrapped penny candy? There will be no candy conversation your kids can’t conquer after this class! This is a drop off class and contractual program.
